Logic Pro Xl and MP MIDI controller

So recently got The MP MIDI controller. To use with logic to control plugins. NM first I should ask if anyone in this particular community is familiar with the device I’m referring. Preferably has one and has it functioning properly. Specifically it’s new logic control surface software to control logic and its native plugs along with third party. If so then I’ll proceed with my questions and discussion. Otherwise I’ll ask elsewhere. ( don’t get me wrong this community is invaluable and has answered so many questions for me I never had to ask plethora of know just this is a topic that didn’t come up in a quick search and requires more of a discussion) anyhow please thanks much appreciate if anyone here can help. 😁

I am privy to control surfaces in Logic Pro. I know people need support for this so I created a free course for it on my YT Channel.

I do not have the Melbourne Midi Controller but Midi data is just Midi data so it does not really matter which controller you use. Although, I do believe that this particular mechanized controller was specifically made for use with Ableton.

Novation did a great job creating controllers that works across multiple D.A.W's. I can corroborate that the LaunchPad works seamlessly with Logic Pro (even though it was created with more functionality in Ableton).

Thanks I’ll check it out and I’ve seen your channel you do good work. This the mpmidi https://mpmidi.com/

its sick the primary host and multi functions work great but the new logic software I’ve installed correctly according to their instructions with photos are blues and greens device is on where it needs to be and everything works except the new logic control software. Their instructions with photos aren’t the best and their tutorials aren’t tutorials ( no step by step walkthrough) their customer service is responsive but not that helpful full. I’m still in my 2 months of purchase where you get priority support but I’ve sent videos of how it’s not functioning the way it’s supposed to the opposite in fact. Looking online isn’t that helpful so far either no Reddit nothing helpful by them or people there on Reddit no forums with other users it’s weird because it’s insanely well constructed and it’s normal vat control is sick flawless. I’m gonna hit them hard before my two months of priority support are up and have a few other forums to ask question on thank you for responding

Oh it’s sick I do love it. The control of plug-ins and fx plug-ins is unreal so awesome. I’ve just been having problems with the new logic control surface software to control all of logic and its native plugs/fx. Regardless of that I’m still extremely happy with the device. The mph host vst single and multi software is enough in itself you laid as a vst instrument in a track and then through it load say Serum 2 which they have premapped (they have all major plugins premapped although mapping it yourself and saving as a preset is where it’s at) control parameters via knobs and touch . It’s smooth no delay or latency. It’s a serious awesome device game changer. I just can’t get the full daw or logic control software to work 100% so I’ve been looking for someone who has that software working to trouble shoot with me. Anyhow you won’t be disappointed if you get one
