How do I locate a sound file created in Garageband in my Macbook Library?

I have looked and searched but cannot find the file Dr Dre #1? Also what format is the sound file in?

Garageband Sound Library download fail Can anyone help please? I have recently upgraded to an a new iMac (after using a 2012 model), I've gone into GB and wanted to download the entire sound library. It's asking me for a password to download. After I confirm my PW it says not able to download, close GB and reopen to download ...which I do. It will then try to download for a few minutes and then pop up with the same fail message again. I've tried this 3 or 4 times now and still not working. Th options to download in the pref drop down are now greyed out and I can't start again. Anyone have any solutions?

Problems ReLocating Logic Sound Library to External HD (Permissions Issue) I am trying to relocate my Logic Pro X Sound Library to my external HD to free up some of the ~70gb it takes up on my hard drive. I have downloaded all available sounds and reinstalled the sound library. The problem I run into is when I select Relocate Sound Library. After about 1 second of 'Calculating Sound Library Size,' I get an error that reads "The file “GospelChoir Yeah.bak” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it. I am logged in as admin, so I should have full access. But what's more frustrating, I cannot find that file anywhere! My guess is that there are more files like this (hidden, preventing me from relocating), but I don't know why or where. Any help?! • MacBook Pro macOS Monterey 12.6 • Logic Pro 10.7.4

Missing HAL folder in ~/Library/Audio/ I wanted to delete some audio input/output because I never use them or I've deleted the app. Thus I searched on youtube how to delete those since you can't delete them in MIDI nor System Preferences. It appears that all those were located in a HAL folder in Audio Plug-ins. Unfortunatly I can't find that file. Can anyone explain how I can find the HAL folder or even better, how to simply delete those audio drivers?

One way that works for me is to open a Finder window and just enter .band (ie "dot band" is the file-extension for garageband files, as you can see (Dr Dre v1.band) at top-left in your screen-shot)

in the Finder's search results: Click on the correct file-icon to highlight that .

That files location now shows in the status-bar at the bottom of the Finder window
