FaceTime is not listed under Privacy and Security->Microphone

My microphone will not work with FaceTime and a few websites. I looked to see what the problem was and everything I read said go to Privacy and Security->Microphone and enable FaceTime. FaceTime isn't on the list of apps that I can enable. How do I get FaceTime on the list so I can change my microphone settings in FaceTime from "Use System Setting" to "Use MacBook Air Microphone"?

FaceTime keeps reverting back to "Use System Setting," and no can hear me.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 15.4

FaceTime does not need to be enabled for Microphone use in Privacy and Security, which is why it does not appear there.

It uses the Mic by default already.

You can change the microphone from the Video menu directly in Face time, or go to System Settings ➜ Sound, click on Input, under Output & Input, and set the system mic to whatever Microphone you want to use that is attached to your Mac.
