Unable to activate my MacBook with error

“Macbook stuck on activate.: I factory reset my MacBook and erased everything and i was trying to activate it again now it’s stuck on “there was an error activating your device. please try again.” it’s hooked up to wifi.”

Can’t Activate Mac:

Apparently, there is an error connecting to Apple’s server. So, two things…

A. Use a USB Bootable Installer:

Create a USB Bootable Installer for Big Sur. (If installing anew, delete the hard drive's partition). Then, install this macOS with it. Go Here: How to Create a Bootable Installer for macOS - Apple Support. You'd need to use another person's Mac to create one.

B. Use Ethernet:

If WiFi is not working, then connect using Ethernet. Having a hardwired connection, your would get a more reliable source. For your device, this is the adapter to use: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple

So, what happens if you click Previous?

And what happens if you click Restart?

Please see the good guidance posted above by @TheLittles, especially the part suggesting and Ethernet connection instead of wi-fi. Wi-Fi is notoriously troubblesome when it comes to reinstalling macOS from recovery.

How did you factory reset the Mac?

Is this an M-series Mac?

Edit: And why did you reset it? The problem that required you to reset it may be the same problem with the Activation.
