How do I fix calendar travel time malfunction on MacBook Pro?

When I add "travel time" to a calendar event, say 1 hour, it now pushes the event to an hour later and starts the travel time when the event is supposed to start. This happens on my new MacBook Pro, with 15.4.1. Is this a known bug or a problem with my computer? I have tried restarting the computer.
