Notes App Search Becomes Case-Sensitive for Russian Language

Hello,

I’ve encountered an issue with the Notes app on my iPhone. When searching for notes written in Russian, the search function has become case-sensitive. This means that if I search for a word using a different case than how it’s written in the note, the search yields no results.

For example, if a note contains the word “Москва” and I search for “москва”, the note doesn’t appear in the search results. This behavior is specific to the Russian language; searches in English remain case-insensitive as expected.

This change has made it challenging to locate notes, as it requires remembering the exact casing of words. Previously, the search function was not case-sensitive for Russian, and this issue did not occur.

Could you please advise if there’s a setting to adjust this behavior or if this is a known issue? Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
