How do I disable "Pages Left in Chapter" to read in Books on iPhone?

Using speak screen. I am unable to get rid of the header “Pages left in Chapter” and iBooks continuously reads that header out for every new page. Previously if you tapped the screen while in a book being read out loud; the “pages left in Chapter” would disappear and not be read out in “speak screen” mode. It is annoying. Kindle doesn’t have this issue. iBooks was fine before. What now? Apple please advise and resolve the problem. Thanks.
