You should also check to see with the developers of your old software to see if it will run under Rosetta 2 ( If you need to install Rosetta on Mac - Apple Support ) or if they have an update you can use on your Mac mini. I am assuming your "new" Mac mini is a M4 Machine, if so please let them know. I mention that because "new" could mean new to you (meaning you bought a used or older model MM) or a brand new M4 MM directly from Apple.
GnuCash has been around for over 25 years and started out to be similar to Quicken. This is one of the few open source projects that actually has a pre-compiled binary download available for macOS. In fact they have individual versions for Intel & M-Series (Arm) Macs.

Without knowing your requirements it's difficult to suggest something.
That said, if your requirements are relatively simple you could use Quicken for general accounting. I used Quicken Deluxe to manage my consulting business as well as my father's estate & trust; it did everything I needed it to do.
Please use the Mac App Store, Click Work, then search for Accounting Software and browse to find something that suits your needs.
