Is this a scam I got a text from 1(805) ***-***9 that said a charge was made with my apple id number

I got a text telling me a purchase was made using my Apple ID number “ 4369 Apple_Alert, Your Apple id was recently used at 'APPLE-STORE' for 869.94  paid by App-Pay, if it's not you call 1(805) ***-***9, to stop this charge.

It's a scam. Ignore and delete.
