iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. An unknown error occurred (0xE800000A)

Once again, my iPhone 15 refuses to connect to my WIn10 64 machine via iTunes for the same error. Sadly, I cannot find my copy of the solution, and Apple doesn't keep a list of your responses where I once listed the steps I took to fix it. No, the basic help won't work. I already updated everything (that seems to be the cause, as it was working before updates came). My cable is fine. I tried 2. I tried multiple ports, USB-A and USB-C. It worked fine in Feb. No I will to use Apple Devices as there is now ay to get it to Trust my computer (clicking Trust does nothing at all). If Apple can make a new version that automatically trusts the computer it's connects to, we'll talk.

What I need is a real solution that actually works. Especially as I can't find the solution that worked before. preferably one that permanently fixes this problem.

iPhone 15, iOS 18

Great. All useless options that simply don't work. Anyone know another way to add music to an iPhone (and edit as needed), without Apple's programs?

I don't. Do you have a subscription to Apple Music? If you do, you can download millions of songs and albums there.
