Apple TV FaceTime call Split View not working

When using the Apple TV 4K FaceTime app, using my iPhone 16 Pro as the camera, and trying to change the view from the default Full Screen to the Split View, the image of my caller is incorrectly placed full screen behind the content being presented (such as the Apple TV Home Screen or the show being watched). This error has continued for the past few TVOS updates and Split View will not work.

tvOS FaceTime forced square image Hi, when I try to use FaceTime on my AppleTV 4K with tvOS 17 and my iPhone XS with iOS 17 I’m forced into a square image. Not a group call just a regular person to person call switches from full screen to square as soon as the call is on the AppleTV. So the image on my TV is suddenly square and the image of me shown on the other persons iPhone switches to square as well. As soon as I transfer the call back to the phone it’s full screen again. Is that a bug or a limitation with older phones? Can’t find any settings regarding this. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks

FaceTime with Continuity Camera keeps stopping I've used both of our iPhone 14 Pros in Continuity Camera mode, using the FaceTime app on a current model Apple TV with the same results each time. The FaceTime call drops after several minutes each time, forcing us to reconnect - only to have the call drop a few minutes later. The Apple TV is networked via ethernet. The video quality and Center Stage have been awesome but the video calls appear to time-out after several minutes (5-10 minutes) every time. Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon? Landscape mode for FaceTime on iPhone How can I switch a FaceTime call to landscape view on an iPhone? We use FaceTime on an iPhone and cast to Apple TV to show call on the TV. However, it currently only shows in portrait. When we turn the phone to landscape , it just makes what shows on the TV sideways.
