Can’t connect iphone microphone to Logic Pro X

Usually Logic Pro X connects to my iPhone microphone automatically (which i don’t want it to do, and neither does anybody else), but now for the very few select reasons I DO want to use it as an input, it doesn’t connect to it and there’s no way to do it manually.

It’s like, when I DON’T want to use the iPhone microphone, it automatically connects. But when I DO, it doesn’t even show up as a possible input. I swear, this has to be a bug. How do I actually just use it when I want to use it?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.7

Turn off "Continuity Camera" to avoid this behavior.

You could consider connecting it directly to your computer and using it as an input that way.

You will have to enable it via Audio Midi Setup. You can then use it as an input in Logic Pro. Be sure to set it up there as well in Settings.

Yoyoben,

i just connect it via lightning cable. I do have an older iPhone not sure if newer models behave differently.
