iPod Video Battery Recommendation

I need to replace the battery in my almost 20 year old 30 GB iPod video, as the battery becomes completely discharged after a week of not being used, and only provides about 1.5 hours of playback with a full charge. Almost every new replacement battery that I find on eBay, Amazon, etc. looks like it's from some shady Chinese manufacturer, and I want something that's not going to be a potential fire hazard. Can anyone recommend which brand I should go with, or what I should look for? Thanks!
