How to adjust playback speed in iMovie with Apple Music?

Using IMovie on Iphone

trying to use an Apple Music song across a few video clips. It allows me to add the song, so it seems to be a usable song as far as DRM. But the song won’t playback in the video and its speed is stuck at 1/8 (it won’t let me adjust the toggle).
