How to delete blank color picker swatches on my MacBook Pro?

See attached. I want to clear out all the uncolored squares at bottom of palette, but can't seem to figure out how.

You can't select them individually or in groups. When I get a window sizing arrow at the bottom, it just squishes the top area where the named color swatches are.

Trying to figure this out for ages.

You cannot remove them but you can hide them.

Move your pointer above the top row of swatches in the Color Chooser and it will change to a resize pointer. Just drag downward to collapse the swatch display to hide all empty squares except those that may appear on a partially filled swatch row.

Tested on Sequoia v15.4.1 and should be the same process on Sonoma.
