Voice Isolation not working after iOS 18.4.1 update on my iPhone 14 Pro

I recently experienced a reality check of not having a voice isolation working.
Voice isolation was working fine in 18.3 version of the SW. However, after updating to 18.4.1, my family members and I are facing the voice isolation not working issue.
My family and I talk over Whatsapp/Facetime since we are in different timezones.
Having said that, i tried a few different things to see whether this issue is related to specifc app or phone. or any piece of hardware.
- I tried toggling between wide spectrum and voice isolation whilst I was on call. It didnt work. I also tried, automatic and voice isolation, it didnt work either.
- We switched apps from whatsapp and facetime to normal voice call, telegram and Instagram. voice isolation didnt work.
- Settings for enabling voice isolation was active, i toggled that and tried having a call, it didnt work.
- I checked for updates, nothing as this is the latest version.
- I switched off the phone and waited for 10 minutes and restarted, it worked momentarily (but the voise isolation was not up to the original standards which i had in the previous versions but satisfactory).
- Last option is to reset the phone to factory settings. I will not do this as there are a lot of data that I couldn't risk of missing whilst backing them up.
Hence, I am reaching out to see if there is a way to get the original level of voice isolation back or anyone who has experienced same issues can help eachother out.
