Why won't my Word documents open on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Word documents in the file app cannot be opened in Word. It opens up in another app Scrivner. It works fine on my iPad and my Mac and used to work on my older phone, which was a iPhone 8 plus but on my 15 Pro Max it won’t open. I have the Word app, but I have to go through steps. It won’t automatically open up in the Word.
