How do I move an image to the left side of the frame and specify frame size in iMovie on Mac?

I'm using iMovie 10.4.3 on Sequoia 15.4.1 on a 2023 Mac Mini. I want to move an image from the center of the frame to the left side. Is there a way to do this?

I also need to export the project in a specific frame size (for a book trailer). How do I specify the frame size?

TIA

How did you add the image to the time line?

If you add it as a floating image by dragging it to a position above the video on the time line, you can change its display properties to "picture in picture" and set the position and size of the image in the preview.

What do you mean by "Frame size"? Are you referring to its resolution?

When exporting, you can use a specific resolution for the video.

Select Share from the file menu and in the export screen, you can choose a resolution from the Resolution dropdown.
