How do I offload unused apps on iPhone running iOS 18.4?

iOS 18.4 where do I set the offload unused apps? There are some I'd like to keep on my phone, so when I'm in a store (or something) I don't need to download the app to my phone. I just want it to be available.

Thanks,

If you want to know how to turn on the setting to automatically offload apps you don't use, it's in Settings>Apps>App Store.

I guess I didn't quite understand that you were just looking for where to turn on Offload Unused Apps. I thought you were more asking where to put an offloaded app for fast recall, if you needed it. Which honestly if the app is offloaded, which means you'll have to go to app store to download it again, but it will still have your data intact.

Offloading an app as opposed to deleting it, keeps it's data, but when you offload an app, you'll have to go to the App store to download it again. If you just don't want the app on your home screen, remove it from your home screen, then open it from the App Library. You can do that by pressing on the app icon and tap Remove App, but choose Remove from Home Screen.
