As long as it's verified, yes it should work.

It will continue to work until your month is up, and it's time to charge your card again. As long as you have the USD available in your bank, it will approve it automatically and continue to work indefinitely.

While the subscription may renew automatically, and charge the card, without an Internet connection, the Music app will not be able to verify it, and as such the tracks may stop working. That's the point. Eventually verification will be required for the tracks to continue working and that will by definition necessitate an internet connection of some type.

Tracks from the Apple Music subscription service have a limited lifespan when offline. As mentioned Apple does not specify what this time frame is, but eventually after a while the subscription will need to be re-verified. It should just be a few seconds online for it to happen though.

However, if you do happen to have Wifi to connect it to during your visit to China, it will not interfere with anything, and you can continue to stream your music with no issues.

This is mostly correct. China can block services and access, but in general the Apple Music subscription should be unaffected and streaming should still work fine.

Apple does not offer a specific time frame for that.

But you should not need to subscribe. Anything you actually bought and downloaded to a device or computer either from Cds or the iTunes Store will continue to play forever without an internet connection. Seems unnecessary to get an Apple Music subscription when you already own the music you wan to play and it's downloaded to your device or computer.

Apple Music is a subscription, you don't buy the tracks from there.

If you mean music from the iTunes Store, then yes, anything purchased and downloaded from there to a device or computer will play regardless of location or internet access since you now own them and the are downloaded to the device or computer.

If you do mean tracks from the Apple Music subscription service, then they'll play for a while, but eventually may need to be re-verified for an active subscription, and that will require an internet connection. If the Apple Music subscription cannot be verified, the tracks will no longer work.
