iPhone 13 Updated to 18.4.1 Apple Music and AirPods basically non functional

After Updating to 18.4.1 on my 13 mini. Apple Music can only make it through 1 out of 5 songs without an un-initiated pause accompanied by and error message then an automatic skip to the next song. Even with my WiFi, 5g and bluetooth off and only playing from my downloaded library on old wired earbuds it still happens.

Also my 2nd gen AirPods suddenly turn the mic off anywhere from 1-20 minutes into a call. I can hear them, they can’t hear me. I am not muted.

I have done all resets and re-pairing and removed and reinstalled the music app, reset network settings, everything possible other than resetting the phone to factory. Please help. Apple Customer care told me to wait it out.
