Why can't I hide apps on my iPhone 14 after the iOS 18 update?

I was trying to hide one of the apps on my phone and i had it before but it has now disappeared im unable to hide apps, this started when my phone updated to the new iphone 18 update thing. Not sure why this is happening i have restarted my phone and still no change.

Troubleshooting Hiding Apple with iOS18

Location Restrictions being the Culprit...

  1. Go Here: Lock or Hide an App on iPhone - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: Hide an app
  3. As it Reads: Note: Apps that come installed with iOS 18 or later can’t be hidden—only apps you download separately from the App Store can be hidden. Apps that are set by the user as default web browser or app marketplace (available only in the EU) can’t be hidden either.
