I have this issue where sometimes, on my 2024 macbook air (sonoma 14.3), my cursor will stop being able to click (from the trackpad, not an external mouse). When this happens, I can still scroll and use keyboard commands, but I am unable to click on anything on my screen, and the only fix is restarting the macbook. This isn't a huge inconvenience but just annoying if I have to do it multiple times a day.

Try Safe Mode:
