I am trying to capture video from soccer matches which I've done 1000 times in the past. Today I made several attempts doing to same thing I always do and it's not working. It shows as recording but when I stop the record, it is not saved anywhere. I have enough storage and my software is up-to-date. Thoughts?

It could be a permissions issue. Have you tried this with a screenshot and see if it is working? Press Cmd + Shift + 3 and see if you can find the file on your drive.
Secondly, how exactly are you capture video? Is it via QuickTime Player or are you using Cmd + Shift + 5 ?

Thank you for the alt suggestion of using QT. I was using C+S+5 which has always worked for me in the past. It may have been a storage issue after all - I went in and deleted some additional old files and got it to work. Appreciate your reply!
