How to manage device access in Apple Home setup?

Before adding bulbs to my Apple Home app, I would like to know, when you invite other people to control your devices, will that person be able to control all devices, or can you select which bulbs that person can control individually?

It may be an older model of the LIFX,and I definitely no longer have the box it came in to see if there is a code? Theres no problem with LIFX, so their CS cannot support, its just getting them into Home. I already have most of my LIFX lights connected to home, but these two wont scan/register in Home, but they are definitely in my LIFX app and working there just fine. I’d like to really use Home as the primary control panel for the house, but cannot if all my devices dont connect there. Please help! (PS- I know about the thing about having to wait 15 min for the override, had to do that with several of these lights, but that doesnt work either with these last two.)

« Home hub required » after upgrading Home. Hi, I have a Hue bridge connected to few lights around my house and wasn’t using any home hubs (even tho I could on my iPad) Since I’ve upgraded to the new Home architecture I just got more issues from there.. I couldn’t control anything from my MacBook (running Big Sur) and also couldn’t share the control of the home. I was told to have a home hub so I tried to configure my iPad as is. But there wasn’t an option to do so… I’ve tried to delete the home and create it from the MacBook running Big Sur but it wouldn’t sync with any device running iOS/iPadOS 17 neither WatchOS 10. Now when I tried to reconfigure the Bridge for the home app I got a message telling me I need a home hub. But I couldn’t configure my iPad to be one. Now I can’t control light from my Home app neither from the control center. Please help!
