How is my child bypassing Screen Time restrictions?

Hi,

I have enabled in my kids (< 13yo) screen time an 1h limit for Instagram with the option to block the app. However this is never respected. My kid is consistently consuming 3-5h of Instagram without me being able to stop it.

My child is able to get around instagram time limit buy going into settings - control centre on her iPad. She turns on access within apps. When she closes settings and then brings up control centre from swipe screen it then allows her the access instagram unrestricted. Is there a way to stop this? Instagram Excluded from Screen Time Limits When trying to limit a child user's screen time, I selected "All Apps & Categories" (Settings>Screen Time>App Limits>Add Limit). However, once the daily limit was reached, Instagram remained accessible. Does Apple have some special contract with Meta to let Instagram bypass Sceen Time Limits? Why else will this not function properly?

What should I do if my child bypasses Screen Time restrictions? my daughter is using my device to approve request for more screen time all day. After she has done this there does not appear to be a way to block the requested app for the rest of the day. How do I stop this? for instance, I set a 1hr app limit for Tock Tock from my phone, with secret passcode and block at downtime toggled. When she reaches that limit, and I am not around, she request for all day access, then grabs my device and approves it. When I see later that she has access past her limit there appears to be nothing I can do to block it again. Or is their? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
