How do I redeem a free movie rental from iMovie?

I have never had occasion to redeem a gift, so not sure exactly how to do it. You should have received a redemption code to redeem the gift. Try signing in to the App store. In the upper right hand corner of your Account screen there is an item called Redeem Gift Card. Click on that and see if it applies to your situation.

Any offer by Apple with have redemption code and the instructions to redeem it. That would likely be in the Apple TV app where you select your User icon and there should be an option to Redeem Gift Card or Code. The exact location will depend on the device where it will be redeemed.

The reference to iMovie is a little confusing as that is an app used for video editing and creating movies, not for a movie rental.

Was it in an email or some other source?
