How to automatically convert Israeli New Shekel (ILS/NIS) to South African Rand (ZAR) in Numbers on iCloud?
Hi everyone,
Hoping someone will be bale to offer some clarity here.
I've tried both.
=CURRENCYCONVERT(value,currency-code)
and
=CURRENCY(currency-1, currency-2, price)
but neither have been successful. Each time I get the red warning triangle.
I formatted cell A1 as Israeli New Shekel and cell B1 as South African Rand (ZAR)
The value for A1 is. 1000 shekels
I need the ZAR value; and it needs to update automatically from previous or current day's exchange rates.
I have however, managed to successfully convert USD to ZAR on separate table upon the same sheet using =CURRENCYCONVERT(A3,"ZAR")
cell A2 contains the word USD, B2 ZAR
cell A3 contains US$ 592.67 formatted under Data tab as US Dollar (US$);
whilst B3 is formatted to South African Rand (ZAR)
The answer I get is ZAR 11,075.81
Can someone please indicate if I've gone wrong somewhere or how I might fix this? or if theres an a 3-letter code like ILS or NIS that would work, as i have tried these and not had success on them either.
Oh, I am using. icloud.com for Numbers on a late 2011 Macbook Pro, stuck on High Sierra. No iWork suite installed. Couldnt recover original iWork suite purchase, gettinga notification that says I have to be on latest versions of MacOS to allow my apple ID to work. as iPhone kept my apple ID moving for
