Install older versions of pages....

I run Ventura 13.7.5

I asked chatGPT if I can install older versions of pages. I got the answer below.

Is this true?

These are English language hosted Apple communities in the United States. Asking questions here in your non-English, native language may result in delayed, or no response at all, as the official language here is English.

That said, stop asking ChatGPT questions about what version of Pages works on what operating system. Ask those questions here and it won't be AI that answers. Our role is not cross-examining what ChatGPT says…

The current version (14.4) of Pages in the Mac App Store requires macOS Sonoma (14.*) or later for installation. It will fail to install on earlier versions of macOS than Sonoma.

If you previously installed Pages on that Mac, then you can only get the last compatible version of Pages for Ventura, and nothing older or newer. If your Mac came preinstalled with Pages on it, whether from Apple, a reseller, or another individual, then you can not get Pages from any Apple source.

If you meet the conditions above, and you have previously installed Pages since Oct 2013, then launch the Mac App Store on Ventura 13.7.5. Ensure that you are signed in with the same Apple ID that you used for the previous installation of Pages. Press cmd+0 (zero) and if Pages appears on that Purchased page, click the download symbol. Do not Cancel any dialog and when it asks if you want to install the last compatible version of Pages, click OK.
