How to combine PDFs more effectively?

I have several PDFs to combine into a single file for a presentation. I tried using Preview by opening each file in a separate window and dragging the thumbnails in two PDFs together one by one, but it will take up a lot of time since I have to do this again and again in further work. Are there any PDF combiners that I can use to solve this?

In the Finder, command-click on the PDFs in the order you want them combined. Then right-click on the first selected PDF and choose Quick Action > Create PDF. A new PDF will be created bearing the name of the first selected PDF and a generation number (e.g. 2). The combination is in the order selected.

I just tested this again on Sequoia v15.4.1 and it works as I have described — as it did for me on Sonoma 14.7.5. No need for third-party PDF tools.
