Why does Siri mispronounce common words?

There’s a particular word that Siri consistently mispronounces even though I’ve added the replacement pronunciation. It’s a minor annoyance, but at the same time it’s a pretty common word: “you’ve.” She pronounces the “you” like “yow” no matter what, which causes a jarring “yow’ve” pronunciation in the middle of sentences. Any suggestions?

i’ve tried all of those, as well as using the microphone to have Siri create an IPA replacement. The funny thing is that when I play back the replacement pronunciation in settings it sounds fine, but whenever the word is encountered in what’s being read, whether it’s in books or safari, no matter which Siri voice I’m using, it’s spoken as “yow’ve.” Though oddly, if the word you’ve appears twice in a sentence, Siri will mispronounce the first one and then pronounce the second one correctly, though still not the replacement pronunciation, as I currently have it set to replace you’ve with you have.
