How do I install and use software for BTER Digital Microscope camera on Mac?

If the BTER camera requires the use of software supplied by the manufacturer and that software is Windows-only, the device may not be compatible with the Mac. Contact the manufacturer for help. If you are lucky, perhaps the software on the CD is Windows-only, but there is Mac software on their site; or they know of other software which will run on a Mac and work with their microscope.

Note that Macs do not accept video input, and that most USB-C to HDMI adapters, and HDMI ports on docks, are for sending video TO an external monitor, not accepting video FROM an external source like the HDMI port on this digital microscope camera. Unless you are using a video digitizer (a separate device), you would need to connect the digital microscope camera's output to a standalone display.

(That could potentially be your computer's display, if you were using a third-party monitor that had multiple inputs and a way of switching between them on your monitor. But your computer would not be able to accept or capture anything presented only on the HDMI output without additional hardware.)

There is no online (.PDF) manual on the Amazon site, but the product description says "Please feel to reach us if you have any questions about your purchase. We will solve your problem within 24 hours."

Have you checked the Tec Specs of the microscope to see if it supports Mac OS. If it does not then it simply will not work on the Mac. I looked on Amazon (I am in the USA) for a BTER Digital Microscope however nothing came up. Please send the Amazon link and we can help research the specs too.
