old iTunes purchase missing from Apple Music purchased list

MacbookPro (2021) running Sonoma 14.4.1.

I have an old classical music album (Gerald Barry Orchestral Works) on my laptop that I tried to open on Apple Music. An authorization message popped up, so I authorized my computer to play it. A message popped up saying the authorization was successful. But the album's audio files still wouldn't play, and instead the authorization message popped up again. I purchased the album around 2007 or so through iTunes (obviously on a prior laptop).

The audio files show up as "protected MPEG-4 audio" files on my laptop.

Thanks for your reply.

I am, as far as I know, signed in with the Apple Account I used to buy it. It was a long time ago, but I don't have any record of any previous Apple Account; I've always used the same one.

I have been trying to restore it from a backup. That didn't work, as described above.

Redownloading it does not seem to be possible without buying it again, as it doesn't show up on my purchased list.
