"Unable to open and print PDFs on my MacBook Pro Can't open PDFs on my desktop, placed there by me Wanting to print said PDFs"

-------

Opening PDF Document:

A. PDF Reader:

For an older Mac, finding an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, you might be able to open these. About Compatibility: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

B. Force Quit the App:

Perhaps the app is stalled?

  1. Go to: Apple meu
  2. Select: Force Quit
  3. Select: any item ending with "(Not Responding)"
  4. Click: Force Quit button
  5. Click: Force Quit button

Is your file locked? When I edited a PDF in Preview and saved it as a new PDF, I found that the saved document was open password-protected, but I'm sure I didn't encrypt it myself. So I had to try a password remover to unlock it. Luckily, I opened the file finally with Cisdem. I don't know exactly what's going on with your document. I'm sorry if I haven't been of any help to you.
