How do I fix disappearing days in the iPhone Calendar app?

I’ve updated my phone although this has happened before but on list view my calendar may jump from Wednesday to Saturday with the days in between removed from the calendar completely. I have to make a “.” entry to get the days to show again. It’s random throughout the whole calendar.
