Why does iTunes crash at startup on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1?

macOS intel - sequoia 15.4.1

iTunes V?? - don't know 'cuz it won't start

iTunes crashes at startup. I have sent about 5 crash reports to Apple. It as working until recently, the last 3 months.

The Music app on imac does not recognize iTunes' data, so cannot play any music from playlists. :-(.

Any remedial suggestions?

Itunes/Music Keeps crashing after 10secs of 2nd song on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (MacBook Pro 2017) As of yesterday my itunes keeps crashing no matter what playlist I am in. After 1st song ends and goes into 2nd song 10secs later the whole itunes crashes. I sent the report to Apple multiple times and still no response and nothing fixed. Had this Macbook Pro since 2017 and been working fine until now.. I tried signing out and back into itunes, restart laptop multiple times and check internet connections. There is no update needed and everything else looks good. Just want to fix this crashing issues which is weird... Please help!!

iTunes for Windows version 12.13.3.2 hangs regularly Hello, The current version of iTunes for Windows 12.13.3.2 also hangs regularly. This problem has now existed for at least a year and a half and each new version cannot solve the problem. If you search specifically here in the forum, you can follow the various postings about all previous program versions. Sometimes nothing happens for days and sometimes - like today - the program hangs as soon as you start it. This is very annoying and extremely irritating. I ask myself: why doesn't Apple manage to solve this problem? Greetings from Germany Rainer :)

iTunes ceased as of Catalina macOS 10.15 and was replaced with the Music app.

You do not need to subscribe to Apple Music to listen to music that you purchased or downloaded from a CD (for example). Chances are that your previous iTunes Library is simply in a different location. See:
