How do I fix an 'invalid address' error in Apple Pay?

I’m in the UK. After using Apple Pay for quite a while, suddenly payments will not go through, telling me my address is invalid. But it is completely correct, used by the Post Office, my bank, credit search agencies. Eventually, trying lots of variants, it has auto filled and I have found what they believe to be correct, but my house name has been rejigged, my village and the nearby postal town are missing, and a nearby council district I’m not part of is added. It is my postcode, which covers only 6 houses. In the 18 years I’ve lived here, I’ve never seen anything remotely similar. How can I change it?

Open the Apple Contacts app and correct the shipping address in your > ME < card.

Check these other three locations just to be safe.

Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses
