Google's Chrome browser system requirements indicate macOS "Big Sur" or later is required. Your profile information indicates macOS 14.6 which is not possible to install on your model MacBook Pro.
Having said that no one needs Chrome. If Safari does not meet your requirements try Brave:
Brave is Chrome without the Google.
The highest version of macOS that a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) supports is Catalina. That is not enough to install current versions of Chrome or Brave – both of which require Big Sur or higher.

You could install Firefox. I believe the current version of it still runs on Catalina.
what version of macOS are you running ?
It says here that you are on macOS Sonoma. Just use this link: Chrome
