Contacts labels get changed by itself

"Contacts labels get changed by itself: My contacts have been experiencing a recurring bug that’s become increasingly common. The phone and email labels are changed, and the addresses are partially erased. Does anyone other than you have access to your Apple Account? If so, they may be making the change.

Use iCloud:

Storing contacts locally (on your iPhone) is not an option. To keep your emails synced as they should, use iCloud (which it appears you are) —you’d enable Contacts in iCloud settings in your device(s). How many accounts do you have syncing with your Apple Account? If more than one, then assign the one account default account.

1. Go to: Settings app
2. Tap: Apps
3. Tap: Contacts
4. Tap: Contacts Accounts
5. Toggle On: Contacts for each account seen
6. Tap: Back (on top-left corner of screen)
