For some reason, when i play apple music from my computer and then go to my phone to adjust, the phone doesn't see them playing whatever music is streaming. So from my phone I have to start a brand new streaming session to now be able to control the music. It seems so broken ... or what am i missing.

Hi. Apple Music doesn’t sync playback sessions across devices unless you’re using AirPlay. If you’re playing music locally on your Mac, your iPhone won’t be able to see or control it. You’ll need to AirPlay it through your phone like you’re doing.
Thank you for your time. After using Sonos, this seems like a missed opportunity of a feature... for instance, if i play music and leave the room and my wife stays, she can no longer control it. It's dumb. I'll probably revert back to Sonos.
