Internet connectivity issue on iMac

when I start up my computer, it says optical updater may damage my computer. I can’t find it in my applications in Finder. Earlier, I tried to put it in the trash and it disappeared. But now my computer won’t even log into the Internet, though the other computers in the house are online. how do I solve this problem?

Internet connective I don't turn off my mac and sometimes when going to use it, it is no lomger connected to the internet. The computer sits right next to the router. To get the MAC connected I have to restart it. My PC sitting right beside it never loses connection. Does anyone have this problem and does any one have a solution.

Internet Connection on imac I have an iMac that I bought in 2016, had a new hard drive installed 12/2017. A few months ago around April of 2022, it would lose internet connection. After a couple of days it would reconnect for a few days, then kick off again. Determined it isn’t my internet, it’s the computer. Moved to another state, turned computer on, it connected immediately to the internet. Few hours later, kicked off again. Each time it kicks off I try to manually connect, but won’t do it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We have an older iMac (2017). It's a Retina 4k running on Monterey version 12.5.1. We've lost internet, even using an ethernet cable. We have a PC running on the same internet router with no problem. Post a screenshot of these 3 folders by going to Finder > Go > Go to Folder and paste each of these locations there. Don't forget the "~" character in the last one.

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

~/Library/LaunchAgents
