Strava account charging full year subscription when offering a free 28 day trial.

Just set up Strava for my son and it said click here to receive a free 28 day trial, then £54.99 after that, yet it took the money straight away. I cancelled straight away and the money is still pending. Please advise.

If you have used a free trial subscription previously for an app, you will usually be charged immediately for a paid subscription if you download the free trial again.

You will need to speak to Apple Support to clear this up. Otherwise, the Apple Account used to download the app will likely be frozen and unusable.
