I'm not sure if you're asking if the above can be done, or if you're asking for new features to be added.

Either way:

> Ability to group objects without canceling animation

How would this work?

Let's say you have multiple objects on a slide, each with different build-in animations. Now you group them. Which build-in should be applied? Remember, they all had different animations applied. Should the animation attached to the first item be applied to all the others? or what about the last item? Who defines 'first'? The one with the lowest build order? or the one that was added first? or the first one selected when you selected the items to group?

Too many possibilities. I'm guessing the developers couldn't work out a solid answer, so opted to remove transitions. At least it's consistent that way.

If you're asking Apple to add this feature, start at Feedback - Keynote - Apple but bear in mind what I said above.

Not sure what you mean by this one. I can resize objects on the page and they retain their animation setting. Granted, I didn't try every permutation and combination, but I wasn't able to find a case where resizing an object (larger or smaller) removed its build-in, action, or build-out animations.
