How do I fix frequent freezing on my MacBook Air?

everything freezes and I have to force quit or hold down power button to restart. That doesn't always fix the problem.

Unable to fix freezing issues and unresponsive on my MacBook Air I recently purchased a Mac Air M3 and I noted that it freezes quite frequently even though I am not opening a lot of programs (usually just safari and adobe pdf). Even if I try to force quit, the force quit program acts up and does not respond so I end up doing a hard restart and safe mode. I tried to bring it to Genius session and they did a diagnostic that it was a software error and tried to reinstall it but it keeps on happening again. MacBook Air freezing & Restarting My MacBook Air repeatedly freezes, and then either shuts down or restarts automatically. I started it in 'Safe Mode', and then in normal mode. But this is not resolving the problem. Can you offer a solution?

Mac air M2 freezes Hi there my recently purchased MacBook Air M2 occasionally freezes for no apparent reason. I m not running anything heavy on it other than the usual safari, outlook, Spotify , WhatsApp . i can still move the cursor and hear some audio but everything else is pretty much frozen. Only solution I’ve found is doing a hard reset which is a real pain. pretty annoyed that this isn’t working smoothly considering the cost of it. any solutions would be very welcome 🙏 thanks in advance

Run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for clues.
