Can I sync documents between different folders on Mac?

I have several pages and numbers documents that are saved in different folders on my Mac mini. Is it possible to have changes that I make sync across the different locations?

For example, I have a pages document labeled Husband and Wife. The document is saved in two different folders on my desktop, Husband and Wife. If I open the document from the Husband folder and make some changes to it, can I have the changes also sync to the pages document in Wife folder? I remember being able to do this with Hazel, but would prefer not to add a 3rd party app.
