How do I resolve 'mediaanalysisd quit unexpectedly' error on Mac?

Lots of posts about this in the past. Deleting plist or putting it into the trash does not help. The problem recurs several times in a session and I often find the error message when first waking up the Mac after sleeping.

The best way to see what is going on that causes it to crash is to post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting. The report contains no personal information and will have more details about the crashes on your system. Third party processes on your computer may be causing a conflict or there may be a hardware issue that will be reported.

Previous posts regarding this Apple process report that upgrading to macOS to 15.3 seemde to quash the issue. However, you appear be at 15.4 already.

If we do not see any likely causes in your EtreCheck report, you may want to let Apple know that it is still a problem. Feedback - macOS - Apple

NOTE: 15.4.1 released today. be sure to update and test again.

Might want to check out this article in OXS Daily describing the process. DISCLAIMER: As I have not encountered this issue on our Macs, I cannot vouch for the fix mentioned. The link is offered only for info about what the process does.
