Common scam. NEVER call a number or click a link in any email/message to provide personal information and you have nothing to worry about.

The criminals try these scams via e-mail, too … they'll send something that claims to be an invoice from "PayPal" or "Norton" or whomever. The fraudulent invoice tells you that you have already been charged hundreds of dollars for some expensive item that you never purchased, and gives you a number to call for "assistance" or a "refund."

Of course, there isn't a charge. But call the criminals, and give them information to process a "refund" and soon there will be.
