How do I maintain text size in text boxes when printing a document from iPad's Freeform app?

I'm trying to print out a series of captions, each one in its own text box in freeform - so I can manipulate the size and shape of each caption. They look great on the freeform doc, all in 24 point type size, but when I go to print it out, all the texts in the text boxes revert to 11 point type. How can I retain the correct type size when printing out a freeform doc? I am using an up-to-date iPad.

Have also tried saving the doc to a file, but it gets saved in 11 point type there, too.
