How can I access my iCloud without old passcode on iPhone 13?

For access to iCloud:

Seems the best method is generally to enter the Apple (ID) Account log-in

(ie: generally an email address but in a few countries it can be a phone number)

and

the Apple (ID) Account password

and

obtain a verification code from a trusted computer or device (ie: one that is listed in the Apple (ID) Account.)

It is likely that putting in the smashed iPhone's passcode can no longer allow access to it's saved log-in details for iCloud. So it would seem to be "incorrect" for gaining access, even if it is the passcode that once worked.

If you have forgotten your Apple (ID) Login and forgotten the Apple (ID) password or can't get a verification code without that particular but "trusted" / smashed device:
