The first two or three are here: Get started with Safari on Mac


Among other ways, creating a new tab uses the Command-T (⌘T) shortcut.


The ⌘T is a common new-tab shortcut in many apps.

File > New Tab or just press the "+" button on the upper right of the Safari page.


Of course there are also keyboard shortcuts and customization options just like all browsers that will put these very basic features right in your tool bar. Review the information provided for Safari to take advantage of all the features. None of it is very difficult.
